New clients must fill out their liability waiver form before their first class. Grippy socks are required. Feel free to bring your own or buy a pair from us. Don’t be late. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we can’t let you into the class. No mobile phones permitted in the studio. Please inform your instructor if you are pre/post-natal or have any pre-existing medical conditions. If you need to cancel your reservation, please note your studio’s cancellation policy in order to avoid being charged a late fee. You may cancel online or by using the Xtend Barre app. Email and phone cancellations are not accepted.

Claire discovered Xtend Barre in 2011 and instantly fell in love with the amazing full-body workout and the fun dance component of every class. Claire has a passion for Pilates, Fitness and Holistic health she has completed her Certificate in Pilates, Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and her Certificate IV in Fitness, which has been a life long dream of hers. Claire loves instructing and lives and breathes clean eating, fitness and Xtend Barre!
Mary first discovered Xtend Barre while visiting family in Perth in 2011. With a dance background spanning 20 years in jazz ballet and tap, Mary fell in love with the Xtend Barre workout, so much so that she decided to open the first free standing Xtend Barre studio in Victoria. “I am so happy to be able to bring this amazing workout the Melbourne CBD. We have created a wonderful community at the studio, and love welcoming new clients into the world of Xtend” Mary has an academic background in Business and Psychology, with special interest in the areas of Behavior Change, Motivation and Post-natal health and wellbeing.
Bonnie has a strong background in classic ballet and contemporary dance, starting classes at just four years of age. During her time at university Bonnie studied Contemporary Dance, Specialised Technique and Dance Performance, and Choreographic Research and Performance whilst completing a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. Working as a Family Lawyer, Bonnie finds Xtend Barre to be the perfect way to unwind and achieve a full body workout whilst incorporating her love of dance and Pilates. Bonnie enjoys challenging her clients and is committed to helping them achieve their personal goals and become stronger, longer and leaner with every class.
Caroline has been dancing for 23 years and trained at The Ballet Theatre of Victoria. After a life changing 21kg weight loss, she decided to make a career change, getting out of corporate life and into all things health!! Caroline lives and breathes nutrition and is studying a Bachelor of Health Science Nutritional Medicine. Caroline has been an Xtend Barredevotee for 2 years and teaches at all four XtendBarre studios in Melbourne.
Originally from England, Rebecca has been a professional dancer for many years. Since graduating from London Studio Centre in the UK, her work has been extremely varied covering stage, tv, film, radio, cruise ships, corporate/fashion and events. Since taking the plunge and moving to Melbourne Rebecca has loved living and working Down Under and is excited to be teaching Xtend Barre to get her exercise and dance fix in one hit!
Trained in ballet, jazz and tap, Soolin has worked professionally in musical theatre including Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon, South Pacific, and The King and I. With the Breathe Certificate in Pilates (Mat and Reformer), Certificate IV in Fitness and Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, Soolin uses an evidence-based approach to Pilates. This includes postural assessment, biomechanics, anatomy, personal training, matwork and reformer repertoire, and of course Xtend Barre!
Kiara Watkins has always had a passion for dancing, acting and singing. She relocated to Melbourne to complete her Advanced Diploma of Dance. Kiara discovered Xtend Barre. She fell in love with this full body workout, as it combines her love for dance and fitness. Kiara also teaches ballet, tap, modern and contemporary dance and is very excited to be able to share her love for Xtend Barre with our clients. There is no better feeling than passing on positive energy, and inspiring clients to reach their goals.
Sarah Camilleri passion for classical ballet began at an early age, training through the RAD syllabus and successfully completing all her examinations. Through this, she discovered and developed a love for Pilates…. “Before Pilates I had no concept of how vital core stability was for a dancer when performing, a strong core is the foundation to your movement”. Discovering the Xtend Barre workout gave me the best of both worlds.
Michelle Smitheram is originally from Melbourne and has trained with May Downs School of Dance, DW301, Robert Sturrock’s Industry Dance, PitFit & Breathe Wellbeing. Michelle’s professional theatre credits include, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, CHICAGO The Musical , HAIRSPRAY The Musical and has recently finished performing the Role of Lorraine in JERSEY BOYS the Musical. Michelle has recently completed her Pilates and Fitness training at Breathe Wellbeing and is thrilled to start her Xtende Barre journey.
Francesca Vocisano Originally from Perth, Francesca has always had a passion for dance, starting ballroom and latin at the age of 5. Francesca has a Bachelor degree in Contemporary Performance from ECU/WAAPA and has danced competitively, reaching many WA state and national finals in her level in Dancesport. Always having a keen interest in health and fitness, Francesca was drawn to the strong dance element of Xtend Barre and loves the full body workout and is very excited to be combining her passions of dance and fitness instructing Xtend Barre.
Leah is passionate about her career in performing and Pilates as exercise, so what a better way to combine her love for both in instructing Xtend Barre. From her years of performing professionally in numerous musicals, she has learnt how important it is to keep fit and sees the huge benefits of combining dynamic dance elements and Pilates disciplines together in a fun workout. She strives to give a cardio filled, strengthening xtend barre workout in every class. Come join her at the barre.
Coming from a background in full time classical ballet training at the Australian Ballet, Olivia has found a strong passion for the Xtend Barre workout and the results it can produce for clients. Olivia is also a qualified as a secondary teacher specialising in the areas of Health, Physical Education, and Dance. Olivia has a passion for health, fitness, and well-being and loves sharing this enthusiasm with her clients.
Matt has grown up loving sport and fitness. Matt completed his PT qualification in London whilst working in finance. He specialises in TRX and body-weight fitness, and now trains in Melbourne, sharing his passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle with Xtenders. Matt focuses on core strength and development of lean muscle. He enjoys the challenge of working in both an office and a gym environment, and looks forward to meeting you at the Barre.
