Our studio is located in the newly renovated D Street Village building between 30th and 31st Streets in the heart of the thriving SE Division/Clinton neighborhood. We have limited street parking available out front and we have ample bike storage on site. The lofty, comfortable décor and open layout of Xtend Barre Portland creates a welcoming environment for our clients and remains true to the sense of community in and around SE Portland.
New clients must fill out their liability waiver form before their first class. Grippy socks are required. Feel free to bring your own or buy a pair from us. Don’t be late. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we can’t let you into the class. No mobile phones permitted in the studio. Please inform your instructor if you are pre/post-natal or have any pre-existing medical conditions. If you need to cancel your reservation, please note your studio’s cancellation policy in order to avoid being charged a late fee. You may cancel online or by using the Xtend Barre app. Email and phone cancellations are not accepted.
I opened Xtend Barre Portland to share my passion for health and fitness through one of the most effective and safest workouts, Xtend Barre. I wanted to create a workout environment where all clients feel welcome, excited to workout, and challenged, and they leave feeling inspired and confident. Xtend Barre PDX is a community within a community where staff and clients support, encourage, and empower one another to work our hardest and feel our best, inside and out.
Originally from New Jersey, Jessica discovered Pilates and Xtend Barre in Washington, DC, where she became an instructor before moving to Portland to open Xtend Barre Portland. Xtend has toned her body and increased her endurance in other fitness activities. Her favorite exercises to teach are those with maximum core training, and she’s known for her killer arm series! Jessica loves dogs, running, hiking, HGTV, coffee, and a good laugh.
Keelie was born and raised in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She was thrilled to find Xtend as it is a great way to combine her love of dance, music, choreography and movement with an effective full body workout! Keelie’s classes are high energy and a lot of fun! Outside of Xtend you will find Keelie skiing, hiking with her pup Goose or planning her next outdoor adventure.
Originally from North Carolina, Natalie started doing Xtend Shortly after moving to Portland in the summer of 2013. With her dance background, she immediately fell in love with the work out and how it builds, tones and lengthens muscles. Natalie brings energy and fun to each class as she focuses on form, technique, and muscle control. When she isn’t Xtending she is outdoors on an adventure!
Zay is a Portland, Oregon native. Health and serving her community by improving lives of women and children are her biggest passions. In September 2013 Zay began teaching Xtend; it allows her to reach women in another way, helping them achieve their goals through fitness. In Zay’s class, the ball will become your best friend! Outside of Xtend, Zay is a mother, DV advocate, midwifery student, doula, and African dancer.
Tessah grew up in Ashland, Oregon and completed her Mat Pilates coursework in August 2013. She began Pilates to alleviate back pain from scoliosis and soon discovered her whole body becoming stronger and more flexible. Her classes focus on core strength and functional muscle development, providing a solid foundation that is complimentary to any exercise regimen. Tessah also works in nonprofit fundraising, practices yoga, and loves baking cookies.
Lindsay is an ex-bunhead from Detroit. She found Xtend after moving to Portland in the summer of 2014. Lindsay fell in love with this dance inspired workout and how it has toned and sculpted her body. She is a self-declared technique freak and loves the challenge of fold-over. ..it never gets easier! When Lindsay is not at the studio, you’ll find her at home watching HGTV with her husband, daughter, and all her furry children!
