Conveniently located at 1484 N. Rochester Rd. (in City Walk) at the corner of Rochester Road and Tienken Rd. in Rochester Hills, this studio offers an easily accessible location for all clients. Our schedule is diverse and flexible, allowing you to find a class that fits your life and challenges your body all at once. Whether you’re a new mom or an experienced dance professional, we invite you to schedule a class and take the first step to getting your body on point.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out a short waiver and to take a look around the studio. Wear clothes that allow you to bend and move freely in and that you don’t mind getting a bit sweaty. You’ll definitely want a pair of grippy socks, which you can purchase online or at the studio.
Our team prides ourselves on being welcoming, motivating and results-driven. We want our studio to be a sanctuary for “me time”, where you can escape your daily stressors, get your sweat on and have fun! We invite all new clients to enjoy and introductory class for $10.
Angie is passionate about sharing the Xtend Barre workout, and is the proud owner of two Xtend Barre studios, Poway, CA and Rochester Hills, MI. As A former competitive dancer, Angie connected with the music, energy, and fast pace of Xtend Barre. She is a busy Mother and business owner, and loves that Xtend Barre combines the graceful elements of dance with the principles of strength and safety in Pilates, for a full body immersion in one hour. Her positive spirit and love for her clients shines in her upbeat and motivating Xtend Barre Classes. She is most proud of not only the amazing results she has seen in hundreds of her clients, but in building strong communities that are filled with support, friendship and fun! Angie also holds a position with the Xtend Barre corporate team as Marketing Director.
Proud to call Rochester, Michigan home after relocating from Virginia Beach to pursue a career with Detroit’s premier contemporary dance company, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble. Thomas loves seeing the progression of individuals from their first Xtend class until the moment they reach (and continue to surpass) their goals is his main reason for teaching. Working hard in every class is a guarantee, but so is having fun. Be it in either the Xtend or dance studios, you can find him smiling and full of energy at any hour of the day.
Ann Marie has more than 15 years of dance training, teaching and coaching cheer. She is a mother to 3 beautiful children and views Xtend Barre as the most effective 60 minute total body workout. Ann Marie is known for teaching a fast-paced boot camp style class and prides herself in challenging women of all levels to fight for those last few repetitions of a series.
Ann Marie is also certified in TRX and Pilates Mat.
Elizabeth is a local of Rochester MI for the past 13 years. She received a BFA in Dance from MMC in NYC. She performed globally as a professional dancer on cruise ships, in theme parks and regional theaters in LA. Now as an Xtend instructor, she encourages her students to not be so serious, to smile at your neighbor even while sweating, and to remember that working out can be Fun!
Heather grew up in Rochester Hills and has over 24 years of dance experience. A kindergarten teacher by day, she is now combining her love of dance and teaching as an Xtend Barre instructor. She enjoys making sure clients feel the burn with multiple plié variations and lots of killer core work during each session. Heather’s passion is helping clients develop strength and confidence after Xtending themselves in class, ensuring they leave with smiles on their faces after each visit.
A native of Michigan Megan has trained and performed with top American dance companies including; Miami City Ballet, Joffrey, American Ballet Theatre and many more. She is currently pursuing her degree in physical therapy. She has been teaching and choreographing for over seven years throughout the area. Her favorite Xtend move is abs with the ball. She enjoys being on the water, paddle boarding and kayaking. “When in doubt, dance it out…”
