About the studio

Xtend Barre Canberra is the ACT’s first free-standing barre studio!

Beautiful, light-filled and spacious studio complete with damask wallpaper and chandeliers, Xtend Barre Canberra is centrally located on the North-Western side of London Circuit in Canberra’s CBD. We are surrounded by three large public car parks, and are close to Canberra’s central bus interchange. All are located within easy walking distance of the studio.

Before Your First Class…

New clients must fill out their liability waiver form before their first class. Grippy socks are required. Feel free to bring your own or buy a pair from us. Don’t be late. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we can’t let you into the class. No mobile phones permitted in the studio. Please inform your instructor if you are pre/post-natal or have any pre-existing medical conditions. If you need to cancel your reservation, please note your studio’s cancellation policy in order to avoid being charged a late fee. You may cancel online or by using the Xtend Barre app. Email and phone cancellations are not accepted.

A note from the studio owner…

Xtend Barre Canberra is about that community feel. Being a woman and having a child, I’ve definitely had difficulties adjusting, and a lot of women go through that. I really want our studio to be a safe place for all people to achieve their health and fitness goals. Whether it’s getting away from being a lawyer with incredibly busy work hours to the busy mum who doesn’t get a second to herself, they can all come here and just focus on themselves – but you’re going to have to work hard too.

Meet our instructors

Natasha Harrington

Natasha studied at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence and performed with the Queensland Ballet Theatre and Queensland Ballet Company. Following the birth of her first child and completion of her Cert III and Cert IV fitness qualifications, Natasha was looking for something different, enter Xtend Barre. Having personally experienced the dramatic results the Xtend Barre workout can deliver, stripping post pregnancy weight and rebuilding strength and tone, Natasha is looking forward to sharing this experience with her clients.

Belinda Barker

Belinda grew up with dance including ballet, tap and contemporary. She has performed as a dancer in various stage shows, theatre, and professional cheerleading. In between performing and dance teaching, she studied Human Biology at University and went on to have two children. Belinda discovered Xtend Barre in 2013 and has been a devotee since her first class. Belinda shares her passion through inspiring workouts.

Fiona Grimmer

Fiona started dancing at the age of three and classical ballet took her to London where she studied and danced with the English National Ballet Company. For Fiona, Xtend Barre is the only workout that engages the muscles and develops muscle tone, posture and balance the way that ballet does. She now passes on her passion and enthusiasm for Xtend Barre to all who attend her classes.

Natasha Vujic

Natasha started dance at age four and was accepted into the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she completed her Advanced Diploma. Natasha has performed in award winning shows such as The Gatsby Experience, Baz Lurhman’s Strictly and French Petite. She is passionate about dance and fitness and has found the ultimate combination of both in the Xtend Barre workout.

Angie Minucos

Angie started her career in dance early as a Junior Associate with the Australian Ballet School. Further into her career she moved into competitive stunt cheerleading which took her to Canada where she spent two years with the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian football league. Angie instantly fell in love with Xtend Barre’s fusion of ballet conditioning and cardio fitness and she looks forward to meeting you at the barre.
