Xtend Barre Melbourne City has been my sanctuary for years where I feel comfortable and motivated at the same time to push myself to the limits. Having to work in corporate for almost a decade, taking care of my wellbeing never was my priority. I found that my body became weaker year after year. Health is wealth they say and I decided to take the first step to change my life. I was introduced to Xtend Barre by a close friend of mine and after my first class, I never looked back. I have tried many workout but Xtend Barre is the only program that I actually see great results to my body.

Born and raised in North Queensland, Kiara has always had a passion for dancing, acting and singing. She relocated to Melbourne to further her studies in performing. Here she discovered Xtend Barre and immediately fell in love with this full body workout, as it combines her love for dance and fitness.
Kiara has completed her Certificate IV in Pilates and Fitness and her Diploma in Music Theatre. With over 16 years of dance experience and performing she also teaches ballet, tap, modern and contemporary dance. She is very excited to be able to share her love for Xtend Barre with her clients. There is no better feeling than passing on positive energy, and inspiring clients to reach their goals. This interaction, and being able to improve the mind and body is extremely rewarding.
Francesca Vocisano Originally from Perth, Francesca has always had a passion for dance, starting ballroom and latin at the age of 5. Francesca has a Bachelor degree in Contemporary Performance from ECU/WAAPA and has danced competitively, reaching many WA state and national finals in her level in Dancesport. Always having a keen interest in health and fitness, Francesca was drawn to the strong dance element of Xtend Barre and loves the full body workout and is very excited to be combining her passions of dance and fitness instructing Xtend Barre.
Originally from country Victoria, Julia moved to Melbourne to undertake an Advanced Diploma of Dance at the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet. Having now moved on to studying visual arts, she wanted to find a way to continue to incorporate her love of dance and fitness into her life, and so she discovered Xtend Barre, falling in love with it immediately. Julia is excited to be able to share her love of the workout with other Xtend devotees, and to inspire and help them to achieve their personal fitness goals.
Martina is originally from the UK and became addicted to Xtend Barre after being introduced to classes in Sydney. After many years performing and competing in the Latin dance world, Martina quickly found that Xtend Barre is a perfect complement to her Latin dancing background – toning her muscles, strengthening her core, and generating better posture, alignment and balance. After instructing in Sydney, Martina is now part of the Melbourne Xtend Barre team and our clients love her passion and high-energy classes.
Sheridan’s love for dance and musical theatre began at age two when she started training at Isolation Performing Arts Studio. Sheridan has also studied in New York at Broadway Dance Center with some of Broadway’s finest choreographers. Some professional career highlights include the musical We Will Rock You, playing Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever, Graziella in West Side Story and traveling with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a dancer and aerialist.
Sheridan immediately fell in love with this full body workout as it combines her passion for dance and fitness. With 10 years experience of teaching dance, Sheridan is now excited to be instructing Xtend Barre and helping clients to achieve their fitness goals.
Sarah’s passion for classical ballet began at an early age, training through the RAD syllabus and successfully completing all her examinations. Through this, she discovered and developed a love for Pilates…. “Before Pilates I had no concept of how vital core stability was for a dancer when performing, a strong core is the foundation to your movement”. Discovering the Xtend Barre workout gave me the best of both worlds.
Since a young age, Lauren always had a passion for dance and movement. Being taught through the RAD and SFD syllabus she has a strong understanding of alignment and technique as well as the core and how vital it is. Lauren has performed with local dance companies such as LYDT and Yellow Wheel that have only fuelled her love for movement. “I am excited to be teaching Xtend Barre combining my love of fitness and dance and to pass on the knowledge that I have gained.”
