Monica came to Salt Lake City to study Screendance at the University of Utah and ultimately fell in love with the city as well as Xtend Barre. She is ecstatic to be a part of the Xtend Barre Community!

Meredith Clark

Meredith is a native of the Washington, DC suburbs and grew up swimming competitively, doing gymnastics, cheerleading, acting, dancing, and singing. In High School she spent all of her energy on any type of musical production there. In 2008 Meredith attended Utah Valley University with a focus on Exercise Science and certified to teach Zumba. She fell in love with Xtend Barre and has worked for two years at the Salt Lake City location as a receptionist. As well as a Pilates obsession she enjoys hiking all over Utah and running, though can never get enough Barre and has been hooked for 4 years now!

Joanne Miller

Joanne discovered Xtend Barre in 2011, but a spate of ‘exotic’ international relocations kept her from the barre until her mid-2014 arrival to Salt Lake City, where she quickly assumed devotee ‘VIX’ (Very Important Xtender) status. Some know her as ‘The Word Nazi’, given her Broadcast Journalism degree and stints as a glossy lifestyle magazine editor, educational curriculum editor and freelance writer for global mining and real estate giants. To us, she’s the vibrant promoter of our light-filled studio near picturesque Liberty Park, extolling Xtend Barre’s safe, fun, effective (and highly addictive) combination of cardio, Pilates and ballet-inspired choreography for the little ballerina in all of us.
