About the studio

Xtend Barre Bel Air is proud to be the first boutique barre studio in Bel Air and Harford County!
Our stylish, contemporary studio is bathed beautiful natural light and our warm and inviting Xtend Barre team help to create a sanctuary for escaping daily stressors and having fun while getting a great workout!

The studio is located at the intersection of Churchville Road (Rt22) and Brierhill Drive in Bel Air at the Greenbrier Shopping Center (Safeway) and our building sits directly behind Walgreens and next to Massage Heights with ample parking right outside the door.

Before Your First Class…

New clients must fill out their liability waiver form before their first class. Grippy socks are required. Feel free to bring your own or buy a pair from us. Don’t be late. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we can’t let you into the class. No mobile phones permitted in the studio. Please inform your instructor if you are pre/post-natal or have any pre-existing medical conditions. If you need to cancel your reservation, please note your studio’s cancellation policy in order to avoid being charged a late fee. You may cancel online or by using the Xtend Barre app. Email and phone cancellations are not accepted.

Meet our instructors

Deb DeVoe

Originally from NY, Deb earned a B.B.A from Siena College, and attended the John F. Welch Leadership Development Institute and Northwestern University: Kellogg School of Management. Deb has enjoyed a successful career in business rising to senior level executive positions with GE, ARAMARK, and First Transit. Deb was introduced to Xtend Barre while working out of state during the week and commuting long distance to Bel Air on weekends to be with her family. She quickly became a true believer in this fabulous workout. When Deb stepped away from her executive responsibilities in order to live full time with her family and couldn’t find Xtend Barre studio in Bel Air, she knew she had to open one and bring this fun and challenging workout to other women in the community. She hopes you enjoy Xtend Barre as much as she does and looks forward to meeting you at the barre!

Tanya Stephens

Tanya obtained her B.A. in Dance from the University of Maryland. While pursuing her degree, she specialized in motor development and various forms of movement analysis including Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and the dynamic alignment work of Irene Dowd. She incorporates Xtend Barre into her fitness regimen to increase versatility and promote sustainability through exercise. Tanya is an ACE and NCCPT certified personal trainer. She actively participates in several physical activities including kayaking, rock climbing, volleyball, and running. Tanya is ready to share her love and enthusiasm for fitness and dance at the barre!

Traci Drescher

Traci began her dance training at the age of four at True Motion School of Dance. Attending the dance magnet program at Patapsco High School & Center for the Arts, she performed in the musical Pippin and was captain of the cheerleading squad. As a dance major at UMBC she starred in the Dance Film Cinderella and performed in the musical West Side Story. Traci graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Dance Performance and received the Outstanding Senior award. Traci has been a member of Rooted and Baltimore Dance Project, and currently teaches at Bear Creek Dance Club. Traci looks forward to meeting you at the Barre!

Tracy Robinson

Tracy began her training as a dancer at Mid-Atlantic Center for the Performing Arts. She graduated cum laude with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from Towson University, where she worked with many celebrated artists such as Runqiao Du, Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, and Leah Cox as a member of the Towson University Dance Company. Professionally, Tracy has taught several disciplines throughout the Baltimore area for six years, including ballet, modern, jazz, and even ballet for gymnasts. Tracy has worked with choreographers Melinda Blomquist and Alexa Conway, and worked with Poetic Xpressions Dance Company, DEVIATED THEATRE, and Dance & Bmore. She has performed at the Baltimore Museum of Art, Symphony Space in NYC, and The Meyerhoff. Tracy is very excited to be a part of the Xtend Barre Bel Air Team. See you at the Barre!

Amy Siegel

Amy holds a B.S. in Exercise Science and a M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Towson University and a Hand Therapy Certification from Drexel University. Amy works full time as a Director of Hand Therapy for a prominent hand surgeon, but has always had a love for fitness and teaching fitness! Amy is certified to teach spinning (Reebok Cycle certification) and Les Mills Body Attack. But when it comes to Xtend Barre, she began her journey with Bel Air as a client! She loves the workout, and when an opportunity to teach at our studio came up, she jumped on it and successfully completed the certification process!

Angela Thomas

Angela began dancing at the age of three as part of the Dee Buchanan Studio of Dance. She is currently a student Towson University majoring in Communications, and is a member of the Nu Delta Alpha Dance Honor Society. She studied in New York City at STEPS on Broadway, and as part of the Dance Masters of America (DMA) National Convention. She has participated in the MHS Holiday Spectacular, performed at Walt Disney World, and attended the Cecchetti International Summer Intensive as a scholarship recipient. Angela also performed in Legally Blonde at the DMA National Convention in Florida. Angela is looking forward to sharing time with you at the barre!

Allie Hitt

Allie’s love and passion for dance began at 6 years of age. She trained under the instruction of Shannon Torres, Norma Pera, Linda Denise-Fisher Harrell and Deborah Engerman to name a few. Allie has been privileged to dance in many shows across the world and appeared in the movie “Set Up.” When not onstage, Allie is in the studio sharing her joy of dance to others and working towards her B.A. in Dance. She fell in love with the Xtend Barre workout from the first class she took. She is so excited to be part of the Bel Air family and looks forward to meeting you at the barre!

Jessica Hoover

Jessica began her extensive dance training at the age of 2 at Dancemoves Studio of Dance. During college, she began teaching dance and choreographed for the Dancemoves’ Troupe competitive dance team. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from Towson University with a BS in Elementary Education. She taught elementary school for ten years as a classroom teacher and gifted and talented teacher. Jessica earned her MA in Leadership in Teaching from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is currently an elementary school Assistant Principal. When she isn’t Xtending at the barre, she can be found hiking and spending time with her two young children. She is excited to be a part of the Bel Air Xtend Barre family and looks forward to meeting you at the barre!
