Xtend Barre Perth is a light filled urban space located in the King St precinct, a luxury lifestyle destination like no other.

The studio boasts 2 spacious, sun drenched rooms and is conveniently located on King St, between Murray and Wellington St. King St located in the historic West end of Perth’s CBD is a bustling hub of cafes and juice bars perfect for a post work out brunch or juice.

The studio is within short walking distance to the Perth central underground station, Esplanade station and the Perth City Link which connects the CBD to the residential surrounds of Northbridge, Mt Lawley, East Perth, West Perth and Leederville. We teach a multi-level, safe, fun and effective class that anyone can join and thrive in. No prior Pilates or dance experience required. The workout is achievable for everyone, we offer Xtend Barre classes, Pilates and TRX. We have prices to suit every budget, FIFO workers and offer discount for students and Corporate clients, please enquire within.

Before Your First Class…

New clients must fill out their liability waiver form before their first class. Grippy socks are required. Feel free to bring your own or buy a pair from us. Don’t be late. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we can’t let you into the class. No mobile phones permitted in the studio. Please inform your instructor if you are pre/post-natal or have any pre-existing medical conditions. If you need to cancel your reservation, please note your studio’s cancellation policy in order to avoid being charged a late fee. You may cancel online or by using the Xtend Barre app. Email and phone cancellations are not accepted.

Meet our instructors

Catriona Drysdale

Catriona Drysdale co-owner Xtend Barre Perth and Xtend Barre Joondalup loves that Xtend Barre fuses her Pilates passion with the fun of dance. Her teaching style is summed up by a range of emotions you might feel during a class – pleasure/pain, love/hate, achievement, relief. Don’t be fooled by her smile! Catriona loves Summer, and lazy days by the beach.

Jasmina Rixom

Jasmina Rixom co-owner Xtend Barre Perth and Xtend Barre Joondalup raised in Perth WA. Her fun loving style and jovial personality will carry you through the challenges of a class. Ballet Lunges are her favourite exercise she loves the feeling of every leg muscle working. Jasmina loves tropical holidays and sunshine.

Ashlee Avino

Growing up in Perth as a dancer Ashlee fell instantly in love with the stage and later found herself running away with the circus/freakshow to travel the world as burlesque and cabaret fire eater! Her favourite Xtend Barre move is the Chair Plié and all of its variations! She is waiting to meet you at the Barre and loves to help you feel the burn that ignites you from the inside out!

Catherine Grant

Catherine Grant became a qualified Xtend Barre instructor in 2013. She loves escaping her full-time job in finance to meet you at the barre. What is there not to love about Xtend….?! Music, movement, so many options for beginners to advanced, a serious (but seriously fun) workout….in socks!

Kacey Best

Proudly born and bred in beautiful Perth, Kacey Best’s love for dance and movement began at the age of 2 and has led her on a path from a passionate Xtender to an Xtend Barre Instructor. Kacey loves to make her classes reminiscent of her years of dance and knows there is nothing like a good beat to distract you from the burn!

Tess Doig

Tess grew up in in the beautiful South-West in Margaret River and has studied a Bachelor of Health Science to become a Naturopath, and is currently studying to become a registered psychologist. Tess is known for bopping and bouncing around the room while helping you find to your “challenge zone” in class. Her favourite exercise is Passe Abs, as everybody looks so gorgeous in the exercise while working so hard

Emma Marren

Emma’s lifelong love for the barre lead her to become an Xtend Barre instructor. Upon completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and performing and touring throughout Europe, Emma discovered the amazing workout and has not looked back! Emma is passionate about helping her clients find that burn from a great Xtend class! Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, she will make you sweat! Of course whilst being graceful and having fun.

Sally Amicone

Born and raised in Perth, Sally has trained in dance her entire life. At the age of 18 she moved overseas to pursue a career as a professional dancer, travelling throughout Europe, USA and Asia. Upon her return to Australia she discovered Xtend Barre and instantly fell in love. She believes there is nothing quite like an Xtend Barre class for keeping both mind and body feeling strong, balanced and healthy.

Melissa Vincent

Having grown up doing ballet, Melissa immediately fell in love with Xtend Barre’s combination of ballet, dance and Pilates. Melissa is also an actor having studied with acting teachers from around the world and is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce. Melissa loves the burn Xtend barre classes give you! Melissa believes Xtend makes you feel strong and confident and hopes that clients can feel empowered and energised after an Xtend workout. She hopes that you too will become a Xtend Barre addict!

Chanel

Raised in Perth, Western Australia and Chanel has danced since she was 3, whilst taking a break from dance she discovered Xtend Barre, she was instantly taken back to her dance roots and fell in love all over again. Chanel is currently completing a Bachelor of Exercise science and Rehabilitation and loves the workout the Xtend Barre provides whilst looking beautiful and graceful during class! Don’t be fooled by Chanel’s sweetness she’ll have you sweating and shaking at the barre!

Beth Criddle

I grew up doing every form of dance I could fit into my day, and loved every moment. My passion for dance quickly grew into a passion for all things health and fitness. Exercise and nutrition not only had me feeling great about myself but I have always loved helping others feel better about themselves too! I have nearly 15 years experience in the fitness industry with a strong focus on running and triathlon. I feel so fortunate to have joined the Xtend barre family and finally combine my passions for dance and fitness and continue to help others achieve their health and wellness goals.

Bridget Clarke

Bridget was raised in Broome, Western Australia where she grew to love being active and always on her feet. She began dance at the age of 6 and she was hooked for life. When she discovered Xtend Barre, she was amazed at how much at home she felt using her passion for dance to get a full body workout. The distraction of looking like a dancer while in class not only gives her the motivation but the enjoyment of such a unique and fulfilling workout.

Carla Broom

Carla began dancing as soon as she could walk and much to her parents dismay it soon became her life and passion.
She has trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and more, and she competed between the ages of 3 and 24.
Due to her love for dance and fitness, Carla completed a group fitness and personal training course through the Australian Institute of Fitness.
To have found a new career where she can incorporate dance & fitness and promote a healthy lifestyle is amazing yo her, and she cannot wait to share this with people at The Barre.
