We teach a challenging class that will push you to your limits, in a fun and supportive environment. In addition to our signature barre class, our schedule features Pilates, TRX, & HIIT classes, so that you never get bored. Specialty classes are available for the pre & postnatal population. We're located in charming and historic Brooklyn Heights, just one block from the Borough Hall subway hub (2/3/4/5 & R trains). Absolutely no experience is required, just be ready to work hard and sweat!

2. No late entry! Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class, earlier if you are a new client.
3. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required to attend in-person classes. Masks are optional.
4. Cancellation deadline is 12 hours before class. Late cancellations (and no-shows) will result in forfeiture of class credit.
5. Required footwear: Grip socks are mandatory for safety and sanitary reasons. BYO or purchase a pair from us.
6. Absolutely no cell phones in class.
7. Mats and props are provided. BYO sweat towel.
8. Lockers, changing rooms, and filtered water available. BYO refillable bottle.
9. Always inform your instructor of any injuries or medical conditions so we can safely guide you through class.

Kristine is a Brooklyn native and former Finance geek turned fitness buff. She discovered Xtend Barre in 2010 and knew immediately that it was her golden ticket out of the corporate world. She is a certified Balanced Body Pilates instructor, holds a B.S. in Business from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Stanford University. Kristine’s classes are jam packed with lots of cardio and replete with detailed alignment cues to help her students better understand the movements.
Nicole is from upstate NY and studied Dance and Marketing at SUNY Buffalo. She’s been teaching, choreographing and performing since college, including stints in Vegas, China and on Carnival Cruise Lines. Nicole completed a BASI Pilates mat certification in 2017 to round out her already diverse resume. She delivers a well-rounded and seamless class that draws upon her eclectic background and her passion for dance, music, fitness, and mind body wellness.
Narissa’s working up a sweat in New York, but she’s originally from Las Vegas, NV. Having been active all her life through dance and fitness, when she continued to get injured she knew something had to give. That’s when she came into Pilates and barre and quickly fell in love with both. She believes fitness can be fun and life-changing and as an instructor values the bond that can be formed with the client, in a fun, supportive and high-energy environment.
Kelsey hails from the Texas Hill country and found her way to NYC after working as a professional dancer, performing in over 10 countries. She recently completed her undergraduate degree and is working for a wealth management firm in Manhattan. Her free time is spent performing part-time with a contemporary ballet company and teaching at Xtend! Kelsey exudes a sweet, southern charm while she works you! You may even hear an occasional “y’all” slip out.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Hannah moved to NYC in 2016 to pursue a career in musical theater after earning a BFA in musical theater performance from The University of Michigan. She’s a Balanced Body certified Pilates instructor and has fallen madly in love with Xtend Barre. Standing at 6′ tall, Hannah is a vivacious, positive and encouraging instructor with a strong presence and a warm and welcoming energy.
Born in California and raised in the French countryside, Juliette made the big move to NYC in 2013. Jules is also certified in Pilates mat and is in love with the method. Outside of fitness, she’s a huge fan of music, and performs as a burlesque dancer in her spare time. Despite her refreshingly chill personality, Jules serves up a strong and challenging, well-rounded class.
Natalia is originally from Poland but has called NYC home since 2006. A lifelong dancer and athlete, Natalia pursued teaching fitness as an outlet to share her enthusiasm and passion for movement with others. In addition to barre, Natalia is a BASI certified Pilates mat instructor. In July 2019, Natalia added to her already packed resume new mom to twins Ethan & Dahlia. Natalia teaches a powerful, sweaty, action-packed class that has you moving constantly and enjoying every minute.
Isabella was born and raised in Virginia, and relocated to NYC in 2018 after she completed a BFA in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. Isabella, an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, is passionate about helping clients feel strong and comfortable in their own skin. Isabella’s classes are full of energy and encouragement (plus the occasional corny joke) to help push you through a challenging workout.
Chelsea is an East Coast girl at heart, and after 7 years in NYC dancing professionally and teaching fitness, her love of learning, movement, and helping people led her down a new path. She recently moved to San Jose, CA and is going back to school to be a Women’s Health Physical Therapist. Chelsea is a spunky, upbeat, enthusiastic instructor with a commanding yet supportive energy that will push you to want to be your best. She is so thankful to be able to teach remotely and continue to be a part of the Xtend BK team!
Kat is originally from Ohio, where she also attended The University of Akron to study theatre and dance. After moving to NYC in 2014 to pursue acting, she stumbled upon Xtend Barre Brooklyn, completely fell in love, and just had to be a part of it. Kat is also Basi Pilates trained and loves to use her knowledge to inspire clients to be strong, healthy, and confident in their bodies.
Olivia is from Pittsburgh, PA. She earned a degree in Hospitality Management from Penn State University. While working in Hospitality Technology, Olivia found her outlet through fitness & Xtend Barre. With 15 years of dance training under her belt, Olivia’s vibrant class will help you de-stress and fall in love with movement.
