Xtend Barre Charlotte is proud to be the first free-standing Xtend Barre studio in the Carolinas!
We are conveniently located in the Metropolitan, Midtown Charlotte, just off I-277. The studio offers an amazing view of the Uptown Charlotte skyline and direct access to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.

Arrive 10 minutes early.
Grip socks are required. You can bring your own or we have some for purchase.
Bring a towel and water bottle.
We have lockers, changing rooms, and restrooms available for your use.
Entry into class is not permitted 5 minutes after the start of class.
Let your instructor know if you have any injuries or are pregnant. They are happy to help with modifications throughout class.
If you need to change your class, be sure to do so at least within the cancellation period.
Our signature Xtend Barre class incorporates elements of dance, ballet and Pilates to create an adrenaline-fueled workout that strengthens, lengthens and chisels the body. Each class features an elegant yet energetic combination of movements that enhance flexibility, improve balance, and challenge the core. No prior Pilates experience or dance training required. This class utilizes a Pilates stick with spring based resistance that is attached to the ballet barre. Like Xtend Barre, Stick has both an upper and lower body strength focus, plus cardio elements, but further challenges your core, balance and control due to the instability of the resistance. * Please see our Mind Body Schedule for full class descriptions
Xtend Barre Xpress

A city girl who was born and raised in West Virginia, Shawna fell in love with Xtend Barre while living in San Diego, CA. After 16 years with the Department of Justice, she decided it was time to mix things up and pursue something she was really passionate about! Xtend Barre combines her love of dance with a fun, high-intensity workout! A wife and doggie-mom who tries to live each day to the fullest, Shawna often sneaks in a yoga class or a run on the Greenway.
Julia fell in love with Xtend barre classes in the fall of 2014. She had been an avid runner but was excited to try the full body workout that Xtend offers. She felt immediately welcomed at the studio and loved the energy of each Xtend Barre class. As a third grade teacher she is excited to combine her love of teaching with her passion for a healthy lifestyle.
Originally a gym regular from Charleston, Kristen fell in love with barre when she moved to Charlotte and took her first class in 2012. After a few years, Kristen found herself adding in cardio on top of taking barre classes 4-5 days a week. That is when she found Xtend Barre in the fall of 2015 with the perfect combination of ballet, cardio, Pilates, toning and sculpting. Her passion for fitness is what drives her to help clients push themselves physically and mentally while having fun at the same time.
Naomi has always had a passion for fitness and healthy living. During an adventure with her “fit bestie” to try new studios in Charlotte, Xtend was 2nd on her list and needless to say she did not make it to her 3rd! Naomi immediately became addicted to the technique, the energy, and the community of Xtend – not to mention the results she started to notice! Being able to get a full-body workout WITH cardio in just an hour fit right in with Naomi’s busy life of being a full-time mom and accounting manager. When the opportunity came to become an instructor, it felt meant-to-be for Naomi and she’s so very excited to pass on her passion to others as an instructor and be an active member of the Xtend Barre family.
